Proposed Change: 51-02-09

A. Membership and Show Conditions

(5) No stallions, monorchid or cryptorchid horses, regardless of age, will be permitted in any youth classes.  Entry into an NRHA approved youth class will be denied if the sex has not been changed on the NRHA competition license by the NRHA office to “Gelding”. See C. Forfeitures.   If the competition license indicates “stallion” for a horse that has been gelded, entry into an NRHA approved youth class requires that a gelding statement form be filed with the show results and the original competition license be submitted to the NRHA office within 30 days of the show date for modification.  Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of earnings and awards.  See General Rules And Regulations Section E – Forfeitures.

Intent of Proposal (include additional pages as necessary):

Formalize an existing, unknown policy and correct the reference to the section concerning forfeitures.
