Proposed Change: 39-01-09

(1)   NRHA approved ancillary classes may (at this time, trophies are optional for 2008 only) provide the official trophy or award designated for the class or division.  The awards may be purchased from NRHA at the published trophy price plus applicable shipping, taxes, etc.  If a show does not offer NRHA trophies, the class winners may elect to purchase the trophy by paying the appropriate trophy fee plus applicable shipping, taxes, etc.

 

Intent of Proposal (include additional pages as necessary):

Because of the continual rise in the cost of the production and shipping of NRHA trophies, the Executive Board feels it is in the best interest of NRHA members and affiliates worldwide to make trophies optional on a permanent basis.
