(9)  Time Limit.  A maximum of 3 ˝ 4 minutes including any introductions.  The time limit will be from the beginning of the music or from the beginning of the introduction (whichever is first) and will end with the music.

Intent of Proposal (include additional pages as necessary):

3 ˝ minutes limits the choice of music and creates a hurried pace for the pattern.  3 ˝ minutes also crates a time frame that is too short to create a pattern that can make adequate use of hesitations, speed transitions and non-traditional reining maneuvers.
