(3)   Open and Non Pro classes wishing to exceed the maximum added money must be cat. 5       and will not count for Top Ten World standings.

Re-number subsequent paragraphs

Intent of Proposal (include additional pages as necessary):

The intent of this change is to limit the influence 1 class has on the outcome of the world rankings to be a maximum of 10%. And this is also in line with the NRHA statement and policy that NRHA will not encourage or support the fact that one approved show in our schedule may decide or extremely influence a NRHA World Championship.

Example

In 2008 this would mean that a open class could not exceed $78,951.50 added money and a non pro class could not exceed $48,898.81added money in category 1.

This rules allows the for the limit to increase (or decrease) through the years if more money (larger purses) come into the industry
