C. Guidelines

(10) Any NRHA judge(s) that judges a reining show where classes are offered that coincide with NRHA categories but are not NRHA approved (excluding beginner and green classes, affiliate level classes held concurrent with NRHA approved classes, shows that have less than $500 added money, breed association classes [Jr., sr., Amateur, and youth breed classes], and National Federation or FEI events) or is not held by an NRHA breed association affiliate and/or affiliated discipline associations will be subject to an Investigative Judges Review.

A special permit can be given by the NRHA Board of Directors to a NRHA judge to judge an event like written on request by the organizing Show management. The Show management has to pay $ 500 fee per judge and day of judging to the NRHA for that extraordinary service. That amount will be used to support NRHA applicant seminars and NRHA judges schools. The Show management of that show must advertise in their information about the show that they use NRHA approved judges.

Intent of Proposal (include additional pages as necessary):

If Show managements organizing not approved events wish to use the best judges in the World they can do that but they have to pay for. The NRHA is spending much money to educate and school their judges (indeed a really good investment), so anybody outside our organisation has to pay for that
