Big News for NRHyA Members:
New Youth Non Pro Division Added to 2008 Derby Lineup!
Whoazone Note: a Youth division was added to the NRHA Futurity in 2006.  Youth entries must also enter the Non Pro division at normal entry fees, and the cost of the Youth is an additional $100

The NRHA Youth are a force to be reckoned with in the show pen!  That’s why the NRHA Board of Directors just approved a brand new division to the 2008 NRHA Derby!

The new Youth Non Pro Division will be open to all youth members.  NRHA Youth Non Pro riders have shown they can be very competitive at many different levels.  The 2006 NRHA Cinch Non Pro Futurity was the first time the youth were included in the Futurity competition.  At the 2007 NRHA Cinch Non Pro Futurity, four out of 13 Youth Non Pro division riders won a total of $29,000 in several Non Pro Futurity divisions, including the Non Pro Futurity finals.

The new Youth Non Pro Division will be open to all youth members and will run concurrent with the other divisions of the NRHA Non Pro Derby.  Youth members will be required to enter the Non Pro Derby in addition to the Youth Non Pro division to compete.  The entry deadline for the Youth Non Pro Division is May 15, 2008, and the entry fee is $100.

For more information about the Youth Non Pro Derby Division, please contact Membership Services Supervisor of Futurity/Derby Entries Susie Trimmer by calling 405-946-7400 ext.131 or email at strimmer@nrha.com
