BYLAWS

— Proposed By-Law Changes – All Passed —

  • Bylaws A - I:  establishes an ELECTED Board, where the majority of board members are elected by the membership region by region. This series of bylaws returns power to the ENTIRE board of directors.

  • Bylaw J: permits any NRHA member to compete in any approved NRHA class, and does not mandate additional memberships. Membership choices once again belong to the exhibitor.  (i.e. Canadian NRHA members currently have a mandatory membership in Reining Canada ($70 a year), an annual fee paid through Reining Canada to Equine Canada in support of Canada's international reining efforts ($20 a year), and an Equine Canada fee for participating in any equine event in Canada ($40 a year).  This combined $130 annually is ON TOP OF their annual $60 NRHA membership, for a grand total of $190 per year.)

  • Bylaw K: restructures the youth elections and regions giving the NRHA youth a more structured association.
